Senior Full-Stack Developer

Description

We have an opportunity for a developer to work alongside our highly experienced Senior Developer looking to establish themselves at a small, but highly regarded software house in the West of Scotland serving a demanding customer base in the logistics and warehousing industry.

Responsibilities

Working alongside our Senior Developer, and closely with our Projects and Support teams, you will be a vital part of the development of bespoke integrations between customer systems, updating and replacement of legacy applications, a new integrated Transport and Warehouse Management system, and be heavily involved in the decision-making process in both design and functionality.

Experience

As an ideal candidate, you should have Degree level qualification, at least 4 years’ experience in the industry, and core skills including:

• C#
• Windows Forms, WPF, Xamarin.Forms
• ASP.net (MVC, WebAPI, Web Services)
• Microsoft SQL Server, Transact-SQL
• VB.Net

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience in source code management, branching and deployment strategies
• Experience in best practices
• Experience with Microsoft development technologies
• The ability to work in a rapid application development team
• The ability to work with others
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A diligent, methodical approach and attention to detail
